What is the Gentlo RF Microneedling downtime?
Unlike other treatments like aggressive peels and ablative lasers, Gentlo RF Microneedling has minimal downtime. After the treatment, you may experience redness that will subside within a few hours. You may also feel an itch and see some skin shedding. Your practitioner will provide you with detailed information during the treatment.
Does Gentlo RF Microneedling hurt?
You may experience slight heat and pressure during treatment, but most patients report minimal discomfort. Gentlo, as the name suggests, is also known to be less painful than other RF Microneedling treatments such as Morpheus8. Nevertheless, your practitioner may apply topical anaesthetic cream before the procedure to make the treatment pain-free.
What will I look like when I leave the clinic after Gentlo RF Microneedling?
After the Gentlo RF Microneedling procedure, your skin will feel red and warm. Any redness and swelling will subside within twenty-four hours.
How many procedures will I need?
Your clinician will assess you and advise on a treatment protocol. Initially, 3 to 4 sessions are recommended with a 6-week interval, followed by 1 session every 6 months for maintenance.
What do I need to be aware of after the procedure?
After the treatment, you should avoid applying makeup and direct sun exposure. Keep the skin well moisturised and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
